1. Service Description

AI Startup (https://aistartup.co) is a curated directory of developer tools, APIs, and startup resources. We allow developers and founders to discover, submit, and review software products. All listings are subject to editorial review before appearing publicly.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, submitting a listing, or browsing the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the platform on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

3. User Accounts

To submit listings or access member features you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and current registration information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• All activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behaviour.

4. Submitting Listings

By submitting a tool or product to AI Startup you confirm that:

• You own or have permission to submit the product.
• All information provided (name, description, screenshots) is accurate.
• The product is not malicious, deceptive, or illegal.
• You grant AI Startup a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the listing content, including logos and screenshots, for the purpose of operating the directory.

We may reject, edit, or remove any listing at our sole discretion without notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or spam listings.
• Use the platform to harvest user data or send unsolicited messages.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform's content at scale without prior written consent.
• Upload or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

6. Intellectual Property

The AI Startup name, logo, design, and editorial content are the exclusive property of AI Startup and its operators. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without written permission.

Product names, logos, and descriptions submitted by third parties remain the property of their respective owners. AI Startup claims no ownership over submitted listing content.

7. Paid Plans & Payments

Certain features (such as featured listings or sponsored placements) are available on paid plans. By purchasing a paid plan you agree to pay the applicable fees. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of paid features after a price change constitutes acceptance.

8. Third-Party Links

AI Startup contains links to third-party websites and products. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, privacy practices, or products. Visiting linked sites is entirely at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or accuracy. We do not guarantee that listings are complete, current, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AI Startup and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Startup and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to AI Startup at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimer, and limitation of liability clauses) will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AI Startup operates, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
